Overview

Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime photography adventure?

Join me and Andrew Waddington with a small group of participants on a 7-day photography workshop in amazing Italian Dolomites, where we'll explore the breathtaking landscapes of eastern and western part of the mountain range. The main two towns we will be staying in are Cortina and Ortesei to shoot the most iconic spots in Dolomites. But, we may also incorporate another place somwhere in between to add locations that are less known or flooded by tourists. The majority of time we won't need to hike much, or nothing at all, but short hikes maybe require to fully experience and capture the beauty of the mountains. From capturing sunrise to sunset, as well as night photography and post-processing, we'll use our expertise and knowledge of the place to ensure we're in the best location and time to create stunning imagery. Throughout the workshop, we'll share our photography philosophy and entire workflow, giving you the skills to capture incredible shots and pursue your own photography goals. With a small group size of 6 (maximum 7), we offer a personal and flexible learning environment, allowing you to explore and find unique compositions in the field.
Photography is our passion, and we're committed to helping you achieve your goals while ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience. We've been professionally running workshops for years, sharing our love for photography with people worldwide. Let us show you how photography can change your life and bring joy to your world.

Clothing, and other recommended items:

It's important to note that weather conditions can change rapidly in Dolomites, and it's always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared. The average temperature in October is between 55ºF to 44°F (13°C to -3ºC). You should be prepared for all kinds of weather conditions, and bring warm waterproof and windproof clothing. We recommend bringing at least the following items:

  • Waterproof and windproof jacket
  • Warm base layers, such as long-sleeve shirts and pants
  • Insulated jacket or down vest

  • Headlamp or flash light.

Visas:

Many countries do not require a visa for entry into Italy, but it's important to check in advance whether you need one before traveling.

How to Book:

If you're interested in our workshop, and would like to to sign up, please use the contact form HERE

Deposit and Payment:

A deposit of USD $2000 per person is required to reserve a space on a tour. The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to departure. If you want to sign up for a tour within 120 days of departure, then the full amount will be due at the time of registration.

Important Notice:

Please be aware that the deposit required for our tours is both non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. Greg Boratyn and Andrew Waddington are thrilled to extend an invitation for you to join them on one of their unforgettable tours. However, we kindly ask that you commit to participation only if you are fully dedicated to the experience. We understand that life can present unexpected challenges, such as accidents, medical diagnoses, natural disasters, urgent surgeries, or family crises. As these unforeseen events are a possibility, we strongly recommend that you purchase travelers insurance to safeguard your investment. Once you enroll in a photo tour or workshop with us, Greg will promptly send you a form via email, urging you to protect your financial commitment with travel insurance. He will also provide recommendations for several reputable travel insurance companies for your consideration. This added layer of protection ensures that unforeseen circumstances do not jeopardize your opportunity to embark on an incredible photographic journey with us.

Cancellations & Refunds:

On all of Greg Boratyn and Andrew Waddington's guided photo tours, our partners, including hotels, transportation companies, and tour operators, require an upfront deposit at the time of booking to secure the desired date. This deposit covers various aspects of the tour, such as reserving hotel accommodations, charter vehicles, and local guides. Typically, this reservation process takes place well in advance, often up to a year ahead.

It's essential to note that these deposits are non-refundable. Your initial deposit, along with the final payment is crucial for us to secure your spot with the vendors we rely on to make the tour a reality. In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your participation for any reason, we can provide a refund only if we can find another participant to take your place.

However, if you find it necessary to cancel within 120 days or less of the tour's departure date, it becomes highly improbable for us to fill the vacant spot with another participant. This is why we strongly encourage all participants to consider investing in travel insurance. This insurance is designed to safeguard your financial commitment to the tour, ensuring that unforeseen circumstances do not jeopardize your investment in this unique photographic experience.

Important Note:

It should be noted that we reserve the right to cancel this photo tour in the event of insufficient registrations not meeting the minimum enrollment requirements. If we are considering a cancellation, we will notify you beforehand. If we do cancel the tour, we will refund 100% of your deposit and any payments made.
